Learning Starts at Home

Family Literacy Program

The program is for 3-7 year olds and their parents/caregivers. The program is designed to help parents develop key skills and knowledge to help their children learn to read.

Many parents would like to know how to help their children learn to read but they are not sure how. We can help!

What can you expect?

  • Individualized weekly sessions in the comfort of your own home over the period of three months
  • Strategies tailored to specific parents’ concerns and literacy abilities
  • Activities matched to the child’s unique reading development needs

We are always keen to discuss parents’ own learning aspirations and provide further information and  support for parents who would like to pursue further education for themselves.
