FreakyAlarm App

By: Enrico Angelini
Cost: $1.99

Have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning? I like what FreakyAlarm says: “Beautiful. Evil. Effective.”

If you ignore your current alarm, snooze through it, or tend to shut it off, then this app might work well for you.

When it goes off, the first thing you have to do is to solve math problems to disable it. If you don’t disable it, it will go off every minute. One of the best features is the “Get out of bed” option. The app requires you to scan a UPC or QR code (that you choose) to turn off the alarm.

This is a great way to get you on your feet and get the blood flowing to the prefrontal cortex.

  • Comes with options of how to shut off the alarm.

  • Currently only available on iOS.
