Calm Kids Happy Families

Handling big emotions is hard work. We can help!

Calm Kids Happy Families is a program for parents and children to learn skills to support self-regulation difficulties.

What to expect?

  • Parents learn about the neurodiverse brain, how to support children with social and emotional challenges, and how to manage their own stress and model self-regulation. Parents will have the opportunity to learn and share in an online group format.
  • NEW! Children will now have the option to work on skills in an on-site group to help them understand and handle their emotions, calm themselves and communicate openly and effectively.

Why?

  • Self-regulation difficulties are more common in children who are neurodiverse. This can result in social, emotional and behavioural challenges.
  • Children who can self-regulate are more likely to experience success.

Who is it for?

  • Parents and children.
