
Living with ADHD as an adult can leave you feeling frustrated and misunderstood. Fortunately, there are strategies you can learn to help manage your symptoms of ADHD.
What to expect?
- Learn strategies to improve executive functioning (organizing, planning, focusing, sustaining effort, initiating), handle stress and create healthy habits.
- Connect with other adults facing similar challenges.
- Facilitation by a Registered Psychologist who understands the unique needs of adults with ADHD.
Who is it for?
- Adults 18+ with diagnosed or suspected ADHD.
Course Outline
Session 1 – The Neuroscience of the ADHD Brain and the Role of Executive Functions
Session 2 – Thoughts, Feelings, and Emotions – Addressing Those Negative Thought Patterns
Session 3 – Motivation and Getting Started on Tasks
Session 4 – Focus and Managing Distractions – Planning and Prioritizing
Session 5 – Emotional Regulation and Distress Tolerance
Session 6 – Relationships and Boundaries
Session 7 – Moving Forward and Following Through
